When You Pray
Cultivate a Rich and Lasting Prayer Life
You know prayer is important but still find it challenging. Perhaps it’s hard to find time, or you’re unsure what to do when you pray. Or maybe you feel discouraged by your weaknesses and your inability to overcome them. If you have any of these feelings, you are not alone. Many of the saints struggled in prayer. They were like us. But each time they fell, they got up again and learned to rely more on God’s grace. What God did in the lives of countless saints, he wants to do in the lives of ordinary people like us. And that’s what this study is about: the journey of prayer God wants to take us on. Authored and presented by Dr. Edward Sri, When You Pray also features Fr. Jacques Philippe, Fr. Josh Johnson, Fr. Gregory Pine, Sister Josephine Garrett, Fr. Donald Haggerty, and Sister Maris Stella.
Study group will begin on October 14th at 6:30pm at Unity Hall. It will meet every Tuesday unless otherwise stated.

Helping Families Discover the Superabundance of God
That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!
Starts Thursday, January 18th & runs for 13 weeks

Women's Discipleship
There are two opportunities for women's discipleship in Ave Maria Pastorate. All are welcome to attend either group.
God's Beloved Daughters meet most Wednesdays at 8:45am in the Immaculate Conception Office Board Room.
The Women's Study Group meets on Thursdays at 9:00am in the Angelus Center at Holy Name of Jesus Parish.

Opening Your Heart is an incredibly effective guide to deep, lasting transformation of the heart, and we encourage all participants new to Walking with Purpose to begin here, regardless of previous experience with Bible study.
Join us as we explore the core questions that we need to wrestle with if we want to experience all that God has for us.

Family Formation
The family is a sign of God's love for his people. Jesus himself was born into a specific family, with parents who showed him affection and love and raised him. With this act God gives the family a unique value.
